Mental Health Day on the Hill
The 11th Annual Day on the Hill for the TN Coalition for Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services
The annual Mental Health Day on the Hill will take place on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at War Memorial Auditorium from 8:30 am-4:00 pm. Attendees will be given the information needed to communicate with legislators about the necessity of having a healthy behavioral health system and will be armed with the talking points to support their claims.
Registration will begin at 8:30 am. A light breakfast will be available. Throughout the morning, speakers will share their views on the state of the behavioral health system in Tennessee. A box lunch will be served at midday.

Transition Information Conference for Knoxville and East Tennessee

Jennifer Shilling Collins, Education Advocate, and Becky Allen, Employment/Access Advocate, will be co-presenting for DLAC at the Knox County Transition Institute on March 10.
- Presentation Title: Understanding the Role of the Division of Rehabilitation Services in Transition
- Description: Several state agencies play a role in providing transition services for students with disabilities. The Division of Rehabilitation Services (DRS) is one of those partners. This session will explore the role of DRS in working collaboratively with the schools to plan and prepare for employment related transition goals of students with disabilities.
